English Teacher Rowan's T&Cs

1.0 Price & Payment

 

1.1 Price - Varies according to class type. For further information please email EnglishTeacherRowan@gmail.com

1.2 Payment

   1.2.1 - Payments must be made in advance by bank transfer or paypal (bank details will be provided after initial consultation class).

   1.2.2 - Please pay for each student separately.

2.0 Lessons

​

2.1 - Each student will have their own private lesson(s), at the same time(s) and day(s) each week.

2.2 - Teacher Rowan will call the student to begin the lesson at the same time each week.

2.3 - Lessons must begin on time, if students do not answer within fifteen minutes the lesson will be forfeit and the student will be charged the cost of one lesson.

2.4 - Lessons must end on time.

3.0 Technical

​

3.1 - Students must create their individual Skype user-profile at www.skype.com (it’s free) and must have a working webcam and microphone.

3.2 - Teacher Rowan has the best internet connection available. However, if Teacher Rowan's internet connection fails, the lesson will be rescheduled (or the remaining part of the lesson if already started).

3.3 - If the student's internet connection fails, Teacher Rowan reserves the right to take full payment. The student's internet connection and videocall quality will be tested during the free trial. 

3.4 - It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that their computer equipment and internet connection are good enough for a stable videocall.

4.0 Cancellation policy

​

4.1 - Advance notice (24 hours or more) is required to cancel a lesson without charge.

4.2 - If, in exceptional circumstances, Teacher Rowan or the student needs to cancel a class, best endeavours will be made to reschedule the lesson for another mutually suitable time.
